Hey guys, It’s Jess from Rain Retail and I’m going to show you how to assemble kits and Rain’s retail point-of-sale software. And don’t forget to subscribe to our channel to get all the latest how-to vids. So let’s get started. A kit is a group of products that are sold as a single product. For example, you can create a quilt kit by grouping together a pattern and some fabric prints. To get started click on products and then click on new product. Enter the title of your kit here. Next click the Advanced tab and then toggle the kit option to yes. You can finish the other information now or later but don’t enter inventory or cost yet. Next, click save product at the bottom. From here we’ll click on products and then click on assemble kits. Then search for your new kit title and enter the quantity you’ll be assembling. Here is where you’ll search for each product you’ll be using as part of the kit. And then enter the quantity that will be used for each kit. You can click here to estimate the cost for the kit as long as they all have their costs in place. Then click close. Once you’re done click assemble kits then click OK. The inventory will be pulled from the components and your kit product will have inventory and cost added. Now that you’ve assembled your kit, you can go back to the kit in your products list by clicking the products tab at the top and then selecting products underneath that. Then click on your kit. You can add an image and description here and down below you can add the details. Then make sure to click save when you’re finished. Now your kit is ready to sell. And that’s it! Alright guys.
