QuickBooks Tip 20: How to Remove Memorized Transactions

Scott Meister here with another Quic kBooks Tip. In this video you’ll see how to remove a memorized transaction. So, let’s see how it’s done.
There are two ways that I do this; one way is non-permanent and the other way is permanent.
For the non-permanent way, click lists on the menu bar and then select Memorized Transaction list. Click on the transaction settings you’d like to remove, hold the Control Key down and hit the “E” key. Select Never from the How Often Drop down and click the OK button. If you want to permanently delete the memorized transaction, click on the transaction settings
you’d like to remove, hold the Control Key down and hit the “D” key.
Click the OK button and you’re all set. That’s it for this QuickBooks tip.

  1. This does not pertain to a memorized list; however, I was hoping you could help me as I was unable to find another video to help. I have Quickbooks 2014 and I am trying to delete several bills that I entered into bill pay. They now show up under bills to pay and I don't want to pay them any longer. I just want them to be deleted. Thank you in advance for your help! I really appreciate it! Have a super day!
