Is it worth restoring this small old-timer? | For sale: 413 School St in New Westminster

He’s Matt. I’m Jer. We’re The New West Guys
and this is 413 School Street There’s no question we appreciate old homes,
seeing them loved and restored. This house is nearly 80 years old. We’ve taken a
close look and it’s gonna take a lot of work. It’s the bones. The footprint is only 864 square feet. There’s no upper level (a huge
attic though) The bedrooms are too small and the kitchen’s
too small. Yeah…we love admiring the old timbers but beyond that and some wood flooring hiding under
old carpet tiles there’s not much left to save or restore. We know builders are
going to love this site. They can build a new 2,800 square foot house maybe
three or four bedrooms with a suite. It’s an amazing family-friendly block. Super
quiet, still really close to Skytrain shops, restaurants and a new school coming
in right across the street. It’s a tough one. Can this house be saved or is it time
for something newer and bigger?

  1. We know…technically this isn't even in Sapperton. It's 6 houses away from the "official boundary" but in practice, it's Sapperton.

Send a message to book a private showing or come see us at the open house Saturday Oct 5 2:00–4:00 and Sunday Oct 6 1:00–3:00.
