  1. The hydra light is a joke. It's just a regular battery except you have to fully assemble by adding water. It's certainly not more environmentally friendly than any other battery-based flashlight. They claim 300hrs of light with the product. Few points on that. First, the 300hrs is not per water fill. Second, after the 300hrs you need a new fuel cell, that they do not sell separately. Which means after 300hrs. You have to buy a whole new flashlight. Yah manufacturing those behemoth flashlights and tossing out the whole thing every 3 hours is "way" better than my pocket streamlight that more lumens and runs on one dime-sized watch battery. After 800hrs I replace the battery and not the whole flashlight.
